Le Nyctalope est un court-métrage de l’association Carpeta (France, Bretagne).
Le Nyctalope original est né de la plume de l’écrivain Jean de La Hire en 1911. Tout premier super-héros de l’histoire, ce grand succès de littérature populaire sombra dans l’oubli.
En 2009, il a été ramené à la vie par le comics La Brigade Chimérique, qui ravivait par la même occasion l’extraordinaire richesse de la culture populaire française du début XXe.
En 2014, un «petit film» leur rend un double hommage. Il tente d’imaginer ce que les aventures du Nyctalope auraient pu donner sur écran…
… Si on ne l’avait pas oublié.

Le Nyctalope is a short-movie producted by the association Carpeta (France, Britany).
Le Nyctalope was born in 1911, created by Jean de la Hire.
The very first superhero in history was a major literary success, before he faded from memory.
In 2009, he was brought back to life in a comic, The Chimerica Brigade (Titan publishing group), reviving early 20th century France at its most luscious.
In 2014, a «small flick» pays tribute to both, dreaming up what might have been had Le Nyctalope been brought to the screen…
… Before he sank into oblivion.
