In Kennesaw, a small American town in the state of Georgia, a good citizen is an armed citizen. By law, since 1982, each head of household must own at least one working firearm with ammunition.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Nicolas Lévesque is a photographer and filmmaker from Québec, Canada. After his studies in photography, arts and cinema, he co-founds the KAHEM photographers association. His work takes shape in the concept of the various degrees of acceptation in a given reality/context. His cameras brought him in many places in the world, especially in South America for documentary projects. He works with the National film board of Canada and the national television network, Télé-Québec. Granted by the SODEC in 2014, he is writing his first documentary feature film.

Originaire de Roberval au Canada, Nicolas Lévesque est photographe et cinéaste. Après ses études en photographie, en arts et cinéma, il cofonde l’association de photographes KAHEM. Son travail de photographe et de cinéaste prend forme dans la rencontre et le concept des différents degrés d’intégration dans un contexte donné. Sa démarche l’a poussé plusieurs fois à la réalisation de projets documentaires à l’étranger. Il travaille notamment avec l’Office national du film, et il est réalisateur-journaliste à Télé-Québec. Boursier de la SODEC en 2014, il écrit actuellement son premier long-métrage documentaire.
